Here is one of the images from the modeling shoot I did 2 days ago. Look at the 200% crop of the eyes. Detail is just plain amazing!

EDIT: Shot on Nikkor 50mm 1.4G. Pretty good lens for the money! I got it 2 months old with a 5 year warranty unregistered for $380.00

Here is a Wedding Highlight video I just finished from a Pakistani wedding. Shot on the 24-70mm @ 2.8, so its kind of corner soft. The video is still TACK sharp! Could only imagine if I had shot it @ 4.0 or use a 24mm prime lens!

I also shot this complete video @ 1600iso, and some spots were shot @ 3200 iso. Clean as hell!

So here is my D800E rig, I am currently preparing to build a D4 and possibly another D800 video rig. Gotta love Nikon and these new cameras! I am glad I made the switch.

Here is something that is just mind blowing. Even as much as I love the possibilities with the D800E, I can't understand how its possible to see a building and read the sign 4+ Miles away, amazing isnt it? :DHere is a shot I did, the shot didnt turn out, however Look at the buildings in the distance then look at the 400% crop. The best buy, and petsmart are over 4.5 miles away. Lets see canon do that hahaha!Let me know your thoughts on this!

EDIT: This was on a nikkor 24-70mm @ 70mm. Can only imaging how far I can reach with a 200+mm :D

Thank you very much. I am glad my fellow nikonites like them! Most of the guys on "thephotoforum" are pricks and dont like them at all.

These images are some of the finest I have ever seen in HDR. Amazingly well done!! I like them all.

Thanks man! I really appreciate it! I love HDR of urban cityscapes.

Jeebus.

I've been teetering back and forth between D600 and D800. That's awholelotta dynamic range.

I had a chance to play around with the D600, it finally has raw support natively for MAC OSX Mountain Lion and LR. Great camera, it just cant keep up with the D800 on image quality. The D800 is more rugged and solid. The D600 is still a great option but if you want the absolute best, the D800 is the clear winner and if you have a few hundred extra the D800E is great and I have NO moire on anything. Much sharper tho.
