On a positive note, B&H lists my order as "in stock, sent to warehouse for shipping"!!!

My local dealer has them in now,didnt look as they look the same as a D7100

My only question is whether I jump now or wait for a price drop. From past experience, does anyone have a feel for how long it takes for it to come down to the $1,000 range where the 7100 is now, or for refurbs to become available?

As good as the camera is, it's not the huge leap people were hoping for (when is it ever?) so expect a price drop soon.

Actually Nikon USA has the camera with 18-140mm lens on sale at the moment if I'm not mistaken.

Seems that it compares very well to the competition in terms of image quality. That's weird that it does so badly with red though.
