Day #113 (Continued)

And then........................ Wait for it........................................

A swarm of bees decided to fly over around and all but through my path.

Not great pics, but had to share anyway. Ha!

And a cropped photo to show that it was bees.

@Roy1961
To be honest, it really didn't bother me. I used to be a beekeeper and understand the what they are doing. Nothing to fear. I just wish that there would have been a way to have things set in the camera for better DOF. Ha!

These Ash-throated Flycatchers just keep coming back for more photos.

This Mourning Dove would not let me pass. It kept "mourning" as can be seen by the inflated breast.

Day #116 Apr. 25

A slow photo day today. Not much time to be out for a walk today as the wind was blowing pretty hard. Actually 50+mph and this is sandy desert, so the sand was terrible. Took just a couple of shots. None were very interesting to me, so I took one and played with some effects in GIMP. This is the result. A beer bottle that is one of many that seem to end up on the property along the road.

Well, my 366 for 2016 is done. It wasn't planned and I didn't voluntarily give up. My life took a turn that I am still trying to come to grips with. My best friend, who I have known for 50 years and I enjoyed sharing my life with for very close to 46 years as my wife, passed away. It was sudden and quick without any warning. My hope comes from the fact that she had a relationship with the Lord and I have the promise that I will see her again one day.

I not posting this for any sympathy but only to let you know why my activity on here took a dive. I will get back into the swing of things soon and then you will be bored with some more junky posts. Ha!
