By afternoon the wind usually picks up and they are through with having their fun. Ha! You did get my wheels spinning however. I know a guy who has his own plane and.......Walt you need to stop by after church and get them to take you up for a ride.... talk about some photo opportunities!
Thanks @mikew. The owl was a surprise to see and it didn't seem to be too interested in heading off too far for awhile. I caught a couple in flight as it moved around, but none of them were in decent focus.
I keep guessing if it is really a Pygmy or a Burrowing Owl. I am definitely not an expert. Ha! I saw it again today in the same place. I haven't checked to see if I got any decent shots of it today or not.@cwgrizz Walt, I am jealous. I have always wanted to see a Pygmy Owl, and really would love to photograph one. I hope you are printing and framing one of those shots. Nice job!
not a ruby crowned kinglet walt, cant find anything except a cardinal but its not that either. Still looking ? nice looking btw.
