This area was a VERY rough area to live in and still is. The old timers still have the same mindset. Most of the people buried in that cemetery died from an epidemic that came through the area. The town was mostly small wooden and tent type dwellings. Only the tough survived. Before the mining boom it was a ranching area that was hampered by Indian attacks. One famous name that comes to mind is Cochise.You live in a interesting area
If you have a smart phone or actually I think you can use the computer, there is an APP that I use called Merlin Bird ID. It is put out by Cornell University "Bird" department. That's what I use. Answer about 5 questions and it gives you a list with pictures of what you might be looking at. Ha!I didn't realize there were so many either. I saw 3 different birds the other day and have no clue what they are, and they are probably common.![]()

I have always liked birds, but like you, I am now trying to ID more of them since I am trying to get images.
I am putting seeds out again to get them into the yard. I don't have a long enough lens to get the little ones up in the tree tops.
