A busy day which part of the time was spent trying to go through settings on the new camera. Problem was that I only took a couple of shots. Nothing impressive, but they did meet the daily requirement.

D750 & 200-500mm
Hummers -- I think I needed a faster shutter speed to get a sharper image. These were handheld shots and I expected the wings to be blurred, but the body not so much.

Bullock Oriole A little sharper thus the conclusion that the hummers were moving around faster than 1/1000s could capture

You may need to up that shutter speed to 1500 handholding. I can get sharp shots with that combo at 1/1000th but I am in my early 20's and my hands are steady, my eyes are clear and bright. My walk has purpose, my steps are quick and light.
