When is breakfast? :)

This morning. No photos, but they were good.

Do you have an ongoing batch of starter, Walt? (That's a lovely waffle iron! I love the flipping ones.)

Yes I do. Actually, I had one that I started from atmosphere years ago. I kept it in the refrigerator, but my wife didn't know what it was and decided to get rid of it as it looked bad. Ha! Anyway my daughter gave me a new starter to work with. I do enjoy using it for rolls, pancakes, waffles, bread, etc. The problem is that I eat too much and it seems to keep rising in my waist area. Ha!! I'm always looking for new sourdough recipes. I have some that I haven't tried yet like sopapillas, cinnamon rolls, etc.

Wonderful! Lol - I had the same thing happen to me years ago, except it was my mom that tossed it out. Guess we shoulda warned 'em first, eh? Glad you got a new batch and are having fun with it, even if your belt protests :)

I have a great recipe for onion/chive/biscuits. I'll PM it to you. My starter was raised from atmosphere 13 months ago and still going strong. Got it on the second try. The first was really gross!
