My son is one of the actors in the school play. I decided to give my time by shooting random pictures from beginning practices to the play. When I am finished I am going to make a DVD slide show for them. Here is my first picture. THe director and scene builder discussing the set up.031 -2.jpg

It will be a challenge. But, fun!

My wife teaches at the local high school. They have a new program called the 9th grade academy where they isolate the 9th grade and give them more of a hands on approach helping the transition to high school. This year I have been shooting some of the activities they have been doing. I really like projects like this. Fun and you can feel good about helping kids. By kids I mean anyone under 25

Here is another. I sat in the music room while they went through the songs. By the way. This was shot with my 3100 W/85mm macro, S1/160,ISO 3200, f3.5. This is why I keep the 3100 around. It does have better low light and noise reduction over the 300s131.jpg

Day 32:

Tiring day. Almost forgot my daily picture. Hmm what to shoot. Decided on a row of sugar cookies w/my 70-300 Quantaray macro. I'm still impressed for a really cheap lens.001 -1.jpg
