Sometimes it is better with an extra pair of eyes. Or in my case 3 extra sets, damned no lined bifocals... You have to really pay attention there because you never know what you will miss. We almost walked past the Bittern. I just happened to turn around and it was there. Same thing with the Kestrel. I just happened to look up.

I missed the Bittern, even with you there. And on the reserve's bird count web site, someone logged a Peregrine Falcon on the 4th. That would have been wonderful to see.

Rich saw the Bittern and brought me back to it I walked right past it three wild pigs were also seen on the 4th when I was back there on Friday someone told us that I also seen a nice Bobcat track on Alligator Alley

There cropped not much tough I'll play around with them some more later I need bed and back to work tomorrow hop to have some more up tomorrow

and yea your summers are nuts

I would think it's real busy on weekends. How many overflow parking areas did we walk past??

It is rather crazy on the weekends. Probably three times the photographers and add runners and cyclists on top of that!

Weekend's are nuts friday was busy enough bikers think they owned the trails no disrespect Marilynne. then their are the families with kids that don't want to be there screaming to go home then the other kids running splashing in the puddles etc.
