I see that you got the D90 out for a spin.

I generally keep the wide angle on the D90. I went out in kayaks with my wife and couldn't fathom dumping the D700 in the drink. UNFORTUNATELY there were a couple loons that I got pretty close to; but not a good capture with an 8-16mm wide angle.

Another flooding event hit central Vermont a week ago. The small stream that flowed under this bridge turned into a raging river, complete with numerous downed trees.

The clouds look like they are under water instead of reflected on top. :cool:

We have flooding everywhere up here. It is strange to see live trees floating down a river.

This is the last of this flower. It is my favorite (though I have no clue what it is). Big black ants crawl all over the buds when they are ready to bloom. Once they bloom, the ants take off. Always sad to see them go so soon.

Real nice flower Chris. Looks so intricate. I wonder what could be so attractive to the ants?
