It was warm on Friday 0C so snow was heavy sticky and horrible! Saturday and today -14C so old snow hard and crusty and new falling snow light and fluffy like dust which is far better!! Hubby didn't get snowblower on the tractor before his trip to ER so no snowblower :( I'm not tough enough to get it on by myself so snow shovel for awhile so hope it stays cold

Poor Scouty- Long leg feathers and heavy snow makes for big snowballs dangling on his legs. Taking a break from playing to remove snowballs under the trampoline. I know he's not in focus in this shot but liked the effect

LOL nikonpup :) I have a couple boys that look like that sometimes too

Those photos were after the water wash but before they dug around and removed many many many foreign objects in there. The dark spots are all things they later removed. They had to be very careful though because his artery was clearly visible but thankfully not nicked. He is a very very very sore hubby today and my hair has turned even more grey. The things men will do to get rid a tshirt they don't like and get out of shovelling snow and hauling water :) He was nice enough to move away from carpet so lost most of his blood on floors easier to clean

Chris did something like that many years ago with his wrist (really close to the vein) and the grinding wheel. Glad to hear he's okay.

This morning I took a detour on the way home and went up to the university to have a look around. It was pretty busy just before 9am so will have to go up again another time

Marilynne they are so funny looking they are cute LOL Their teeth are always crooked and stick out, they have no front upper teeth. They use those crooked teeth like shovels and then chew with the grinding ones in the back. They have at least 5+ inches of fibre on them. I'll dig out a picture of them after shearing but they are tiny creatures under all that fibre. I trim them now with scissors instead of shearing they're old (17 & 21yrs) so I like them to have a warm winter coat and protection from bugs in summer.

It was a lovely day :)

This nice cold fluffy snow is lovely, its not slippery and its light like feathers so walking in it and maintenance is easy. Sadly it seems its going to warm up again which means heavy sticky slushy snow and ice blech! Sunshine and -14C yesterday was lovely, pups and I had a great time outside after chores.
