I can get almost right up to the nest. Here is a wider shot of someone else taking shots. I can walk to the edge of the water or lean against that post where the sign is, but I like to take the shots from a little further back as not to annoy the parents. Those talons are no joking matter.

Not much activity around the Osprey's nest Saturday. The chicks are getting almost as big as the adults, but I did not see any of them trying to fly yet. However it was a hot day, so that could be it.
The resident heron is making her/his rounds.
