Interesting subject matter for a lens test... Odd name for an air freshener... Paradise Retreat... Life Scents... Don't really want to know when you came up with the idea, but it is a good shot :playful:

I was just trying to get something with different colors really to see the how it was rendering, so I just grabbed an air freshener and took it out to the deck. I'll have time this weekend to give it a better workout. I'm going back to the zoo.

Went back to the Zoo to give my new 80-200mm a workout. Much easier to drag around then the 200-500 mm ,that's for sure. Once I got used to shooting it ,I feel much better about this lens then when I tried it out the first few days around the house.

Once again, everything is either through glass or a chain linked fence.

I just couldn't get the this one right through the fence. You can see the fence distracting in the fore ground, but this is the only angle I could get the Snow Leopard from.

Went to the farmers market with the wife to practice with my 80-200.. Spent 6 dollars on a loaf of Assiago Bread, spent 18 dollars on 2 Gyros, and 3.50 on a pretzel. They wanted 3 dollars for a can of Coke, but I drew the line right there!!

So I go out to shoot some sunsets. Take the 24-120, the 20mm and an ND filter. I get out to the river by my favorite spot and there are fire fighting helicopters and a fire across the way.

these are great no need for a longer lens. Little River Canyon burned 300-400 acres today. Lots of dry weather is causing a lot of fires

Thanks Don. I'm putting some in my music thread. You know, Marshall Tucker, Fire On The Mountain style. Now if I could just find my music thread I'll be in good shape.
Also, sunset shots are coming up. Stay tuned!:)

Love that Arch Top Martin... I bet that is sweet... Was that 12 String a Martin too? I need to try playing again. Had to many issues with my left hand... and the numbness in the right made it hard to hold the pick.

I am not sure what that 12 string was.
