PS. All the photos I've taken and posted on site have been using manual mode. I've become sorta addicted to doing it that way for some reason. Lol :D

Here is a cotton field that caught my attention due to the color! It was so brick red it amazed me, so I pulled over on a busy road and took a quick shot! :D

Well I used my D300 to take a selfie, but being my first try at a portrait I didn't think it was good enough to post. Though I did resize it and I'm using it as my profile photo, in case you might want to see it anyway! Lol :)

But if I get enough people interested in seeing a larger version, I'll post it even though I'm not thrilled with it! Lol :D

Well Bill, because I have been looking at your Avatar for so long now, I was picturing you looking a bit different than your photo :).

You actually look a bit like another good friend of mine that I see most days, only difference is his beard is a bit longer than yours, and I don't think he has ever used a camera. :rolleyes:

I have just had an awful thought, I hope everyone doesn't think I look like my Avatar :eek:

I too imagined you differently ;-) but great selfie I am going to try one this break (maybe). Just one thought though maybe move away from the wall a few metres and not have a join in the middle of your head ;-)

Thanks my friend! I didn't have much room to work with, but I'll keep it in mine for the next time I decide to try a portrait! :D
