Another myth to debunk about Canada

That's just an act so people will think we're weak, but mess with us and we'll show you our army of polar bears and destroy everyone. ;)

But seriously, it's nice to see an American that actually isn't ignorant when it comes to Canada. We don't see that often. Kudos.

Thanks.

Oh, and it's not just the polar bears. You have moose! I understand that moose can get very aggressive. :)

Funny how these things get plastered into TV and movies. Since I am from the South (US) people think we all drive pickups, like country music and love NASCAR. Well I do drive a Pickup but hate country music and could care less about NASCAR. Turn left, Turn left. boring. And although I have zero problem with hunting I don't hunt either. Hunting is fine as long as the meat is eaten and not just wasted. I don't like to see that.

Don,

Don't feel bad. I live in rural upstate New York. It is like a different world compared to down state (east of the Hudson River). Downstaters really think we a bunch of rubes who walk around with hayseeds in our hair, are uneducated and live in tarpaper covered shacks. The funny part is that I grew up downstate, on Long Island, to be specific, 20 miles from NYC. Once I graduated college, I had no desire to go back downstate. Too many people, too much pollution, too much noise, etc.

Did you know every night, after Canadia goes to sleep, the American's secretly repaint the international boundary six inches deeper inside Canadian territory?

One day soon you'll wake up and we'll all yell, "SURPRISE!!!"

HaHa! They can blame it on the small earthquakes that periodically occur along the St. Lawrence river. :)

Now that we're on the subject of Canadians, maybe you can tell my why Canadians don't live in Canadia and instead live in Canada?

Yes, I could. But you're not going to like the answer...

It has to do, in large part, with Canada's deep-seated hatred of vowels.

I think the "gun culture" in the US is very regional. I've known thousands of people in my time and none of them owned a pistol and only some a rifle. Go to Texas and the opposite is true. I've always known Canadians had guns too because they own the better side of Niagara falls, we probably would have taken it if it was easy :).

The gun ownership "culture" comes from our historical struggle to be free. Our government owns a lot of guns so we can help other countries. We should probably stop doing that because we get a bad reputation for doing so; nobody seems to like anyone who stands up to bullies anymore.

There WAS a Boss Hog, but his ass is bacon and pork chops now!
Just because my Momma might've married a fool, don't mean she raised one!

This "culture" is also ingrained in your Bill of Rights; Second Amendment to the Constitution. This makes the US somewhat unique as compared to other democracies.
