Thought about you when we were in PA last week. We came in from the south and didn't know how far you are from Fleetwood. I vaguely remember being about 1.5 hours from the Hershey area.

Couldn't find the Blue Mountain RR station. Tried Port Clinton and found a caboose attached to a restaurant. I'm sure you know where it is. Next time.

Great heron shot. Haven't seen many at Wako lately. Some of them should be heading south soon.

If you came up 83 from Baltimore you passed within 1 mile of my house. If you came up 81 you missed me by 15 miles but drove right by (spit in the parking lot) the lake where I get many of my shots.

I have never been to Blue Mountain so I am not sure where it is.

Thanks for the nice comment about the Heron. I believe most of them have decided to stay here for the winter. They enjoy Ice Fishing!

Just got home. Didn't have access to a computer for three days. We didn't come via 81 or 83. We took some scenic route in VA that was rolling hills and really nice until we hit all the cities. Somehow we wound up on the Penn Tpk and the infamous Rt 222. We did go home via 83. I'll keep that in mind for next years trip. I thought you lived near Hershey or Harrisburg.

We found the Blue Mountain RR a few years ago. If you find it let me know where it is. Here's the link - http://www.rbmnrr.com/

I think they go out of Jim Thorpe but I need to check on that. We live south of Harrisburg and use 83 all the time. Sorry you had to use 222, I avoid that road whenever I can.

Went to a local Fall Harvest Fest where they were doing a Sheep to Shawl exhibition. Didn't stay long enough to see them put the yarn on the loom.

You have a year to find it for me.

Part of 222 goes by my sister-in-laws road, so we do have to use it.

Have not had much time for Photography the last couple of weeks. My business partner has some health issues and decided to retire. Unfortunately that was not in the business plan so my time has been tied up with that, and could be for a couple more weeks. I have to take over all his clients and meet with them and also maintain mine. This too will pass. Yesterday my son and I went to the ALDS playoff game in Baltimore. Just took the cell phone with me and really liked this shot of my son. Can you tell he is an Orioles fan.

Finally got a few minutes free this afternoon and it was not raining so I took a walk around one of the lakes. Almost stepped on this baby snapping turtle.

Finally got a few minutes of free time and made a trip to the local lakes. Migration is starting to take off (sorry about the poor pun) so here are a couple non residents. A Ring Necked Grebe and an American Coot.
