Looks like Fall Migration has started. This is the very scarce New England Hood Dairy Dirigible (blimpis humongous) I caught it passing over Harrisburg PA on it's way to "I don't know where". It summers in Boston and is seen mostly around Fenway Park. When I last saw it it was headed Southwest. Keep your eyes to the sky if you live south of me. It is a rather large bird and can be seen from miles away.

Could not believe how close this Little Blue Heron came into the shore. Guess he figured if that guy could fish there so could he.

Shorebirds are in their migration and have begun to stop at the lakes around here. I believe this is a Solitary Sandpiper.
