Thanks for the nice comment. We all wish we could get a little closer but than again with everyone that stops there it might be too noisy for them. I plan to go back in a week or so as they should be bigger and easier to see.

Getting a new sidewalk put in. This winter finally did it in as the step off from the porch to the sidewalk became a little over 10 inches. They dug it out yesterday but with the rain today they hope to pour tomorrow.

We are actually making it wider so there is very little repair to be done. They just need to do a little seeding when they are done.

Black-crowned Night-Heron. They roost during the day and go searching for food at dusk. This is the 97th species of bird I have captured.
