Horned Grebe. It was misty and rainy but I heard they were in town and didn't want to miss them. This is the 95th species of bird I have been able to photograph in the last year.

This guy flew over just as I was getting in the car. It was raining so these are not great shots. There has been an increase of Bald Eagles along the river in this area in the last couple of years.

The red head is a Eurasian Wigeon. I saw a local post that it was at this lake so I stopped on the way home. It was foggy, starting to rain, and he was about 300 yards out so this is cropped but it is the only time I have seen one so as they say "it is what it is".

Wind and rain brings the ducks down to the lake. These were about 150 yards out so it's cropped hard and the rain didn't help the clarity but I was amazed by the variety that was there. I count 6 different species in this group.

Had to make a trip on business to a town near this Bald Eagle nest. Even though it was raining I made a quick stop to check it out. You can see how hard it was raining (white dots). Hope to go back some sunny day if we ever get one again. I understand the eggs have started to hatch and there is at least one eaglet that has been seen. The nest is on the far side of a corn field so you can't get to close.

When back to the Bald Eagle nest this afternoon since it was not raining. You can see it in the in the middle of the pic. Look real close and you see the Eagle on the left side of the nest.
