Alan, I especially like the 3rd one... :)
Great shot and I liek your presentation, almost looks like a dogfight!

Thanks Pat. It was going to be a Dogfight but they could not get the Fokker D1 to start so they just flew around each other. I really wanted to see that Triplane fly. Maybe next month if I can make it there. I was going to take a shot for you as there was a bike club there. They left before I did but there were about 30 or 40 bikes.

Trying to start the Fokker D1. It is a rotary engine which means the engine spins with the prop. Four guys were worn out trying to start this thing.

Thanks Marilynne. I have a bunch that I think will look better that way. With all the shots I took I might be at this all day. Glad it's not film. (I would need a loan to process it all!)

I know how you feel. It took me a week to process my two week vacation.

Some of the planes from yesterday. It was very overcast most of the day making for creative photo opportunities.

Love the treatment on the old planes well done.

Thanks Scott. One of the few subjects that this little trick works well on. I posted these on the Museum's site and the pilot wearing the British Uniform in the pictures wrote to tell me he felt they were Amazing Photographs. It was nice to hear that from him.
