They don't use the usually security. If you try anything he just does a roll and problem solved. Besides I have relatives in the Bureau. You might want to check in front of your house however.......I'm just saying:hurt:

I never saw an air show I didn't like but this one was on the top of the list. This is an original 1909 Bleirot XI, the kind you usually only see in museums, and the oldest flying aircraft in the United States. They only takes hops off the runway because this is wing warping plane which if you know anything about avionics makes it very difficult to fly. It is powered by a 35 HP Y type engine.

Thanks Ron. I have never seen this many old planes in a private collection. I have shots of two more that they brought out for the day. One they did not even try to get off the ground, Just taxied it down the runway.

1914 French Caudron GIII which is about 25% original including the rotary engine. It is a hard plane to start because the rotary engine spins with the prop, making it air cooled. it was used as an observation plane for artillery.

I love this shot Alan, great timing and there is a lot of energy into it. There is just a light branch and a light patch on top and right upper corner that I find distracting a bit. Just my opinion.

A couple of sail boats on the Hudson River. Look close in the first boat and you will see a guy taking a picture of me taking a picture of him.

Still playing with the 400+ pictures from the air show in Rhinebeck last week. The way I love watching these things I think I might have been a WWI pilot in a former life.
