Silly me. I read the leader's initial e-mail wrong. They sent out a follow-up e-mail this morning and as of now, it is still on. The Destin Seafood Festival, held at the same place, is cancelled, but we're not So, as of now, I'm again attending. :cool:

This is the first year I have heard of the World Wide Photo Walk and there was two happening in my city, Belfast. I chose the Titanic Belfast and had a ball with a bunch of photographers I had never met before. Here is a set from yesterday - http://www.flickr.com/photos/derekhall/sets/72157636230123135

Had a great time meeting Cindy, John, Jake and Mark yesterday in Princeton. Weather was a nice - maybe even too hot. Here is my second favorite from the walk: I was playing around with a long lens and how you can use them to compress perspective. The statue really is not of a guy with his finger in his nose.

The area walk here was cancelled due to rain as well.

We've had flash flood warnings the past 3 days in a row. Crazy weather here this time of year...this is supposed to be harvest season, and there's a lot of farmers who are worried that their crops are going to be ruined.

That's a shame it had to be canceled, but we need to think of those framers who are concerned about their crops. Has the weather began to improve any?
