The Wood Ducks and the Whistling Ducks have been fighting over this hollow palm tree. When my friend arrived, the Whistlers were on the palm. After our loop, the Wood Ducks were there.

As I was heading out of Lox, one of my friends flagged me down to let me know the Sandhill Cranes were in the fields at Bedners.

Went back to Loxahatchee on Friday to look for the Barred Owlets. There were 10 of us and no one saw or heard them!! I was wondering how this "leaf" was stuck on the rail. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be a Ruddy Daggerwing butterfly.
