Some macro shots this afternoon, I left it a bit late and the sun was low. Very small Green jumping spider, handheld with 90mm macro. I think I need an extension tube or two and a Raynox adaptor.

Ok take 2 of small fly, this time I used my secret weapon.... The on board flash (I forgot the shot before lol)

Ok so as I said I would try my hand at macro in the garden, guess what.... Its a nice sunny, windy day today lol so I will post my shots here of what I can manage. The breeze is nice though just annoying when your subject gets blown around all the time.

When I have done Rally Aus and V8 Super car photos I always used shutter priority, it gives me more control over the subject. Examples are... Get in nice and close, practice panning. Make the subject more appealable by adding in extra's ;) Always use Continuous shooting, you never know...

As its been pointed out here my Camera straps for both my D800E and D600 kinda stick out. So I am after ideas of what aftermarket straps there are out there and which would be suitable for me. Remember I do alot of wildlife with a heavy 80-400mmVR lens and that would be on my D800E and battery...
