Finally got a few minutes of free time and made a trip to the local lakes. Migration is starting to take off (sorry about the poor pun) so here are a couple non residents. A Ring Necked Grebe and an American Coot.

Finally got a few minutes free this afternoon and it was not raining so I took a walk around one of the lakes. Almost stepped on this baby snapping turtle.
