Well as you all should know that a year ago I lost an EN-EL18 battery in Africa. Yesterday I was digging through my camera bag and hidden right at the back was that same battery, and guess what?! I had ordered another but it was delayed ( I ordered in November 2013) and today I got a phone call...

Lake Nakuru was where we spotted our first Rhinos both black and white.

This is a domestic wild dog that decided to make itself at home around our campsite.

Here are a few photos walking through some markets in Kenya, I had to be careful as I very nearly had a Kenyan wife from the happy couple in the last photo lol.

We visited a Tea plantation, apparently when they have 3 leaves like in the first photo they are ready to be picked as such. It is a labour intensive task. These plants are over 50 years old from memory.

This cement place did not seem very busy.

A bridge had been washed out and was being repaired, so we waited.

One of the small shops along the side of the road, we were warned about photographing police. But I happened to capture this policeman :-)

And yes more Elephants, they are amazing animals.

Numerous birds in flight, I think I got one in focus.

It was easy to photograph Elephants.

Dont the Hippos look cute :-)

The Nile crocodiles are very similar to the crocs we get here.

While on a cruise it was great to watch the Elephants and the respect other animals including the notorious Cape Buffalo.

The colours in the lizards was quite surprising.

This is one of the hippos taken at 'Hippo Camp'. They come out of the water at times to graze.
