    The Horned Gerbe - shot near Bonnyville, AB Canada She was not at all happy with me when I noticed her eggs and got close - I was shooting with my 70-300mm so I was not that close - probably 5 meters away.

    And there was a whole herd of Canada Geese. Some consider them vermin. A flock like this can really chew up the ground in a hurry - and litter it too.

    Always liked the Red Winged Blackbird - probably because they are so easy to identify - well the males for sure.
