My new second-hand lens arrived at work today. Managed a couple of shots during break, only sparrows available, and tried it wide open, just for fun

I found some ground tits scampering about in a pepper tree, but my only shot was into the sun. I got the picture I expected, but was pleasantly surprised to see what could be squeezed out with a little massaging

And there was a whole herd of Canada Geese. Some consider them vermin. A flock like this can really chew up the ground in a hurry - and litter it too.
