Taken this afternoon along a paved path that goes around a lake. No clue where the dirt path leads. The footbridge is one of three along this walking path.
Thank you! I do remember trying out the old Nikon Wireless app which worked fine, but that was ages ago. I know there were many complaints when SnapBridge first came out.
Does anyone know if Snap Bridge works with the D750, D610, or D7200 since none of them are listed? My D500 is the only one on the list.
And if not, any suggestions on a wireless app that can transfer images wirelessly from these cameras to an iPhone? I have a wireless mobile adapter for my D610...
Some types of material are very silky-looking and will reflect light more than others. That said, I took a screenshot of the 2nd image (with her arms raised) into Camera RAW to look at the histogram. The top isn't clipping – meaning the white's aren't blown out. But the blacks are clipping. So...
Like @BF Hammer, I also adjust mine when the time changes. Sometimes my camera bodies wind up being off by a few minutes, but unless I happen to have the camera in hand and notice it, I don't try to adjust it until the next time change.
There really isn't a guaranteed way to make sure the exact amount of flash will be perfect on the first shot. TTL is going to read the entire scene. If it's overly bright, the flash will read that brightness and come up with what it determines is correct. The same for a darker scene. The flash...
I don't know if this is the reason, but there is an internal battery inside the body that powers that display even when the rechargeable battery is removed. So that could possibly be the issue. Do you have an EN-EL15 battery installed, and if so, is the display still not showing up? Otherwise...
In recognition of International Cat Day today, this is Micah, a diluted calico rescue I adopted back in September 2014. She is almost 12 years old. And for those who have cats, October 29th will be National Cat Day because apparently these felines need more than one day to be honored! 😄
Camera...
I mistook the affected lens for the other one. And I agree an f/2.8 lens shouldn't have a focus issue unless the scene is pretty dark with low contrast. Thanks for catching my mistake!
If you are zoomed out on the long end towards 80mm, your aperture will be at f/5.6. Are you focusing on something with contrast? If not, the camera might not be able to secure focus.
Have you cleaned the lens' contacts?
Wow, that's an enormous sized card! Definitely a great price – thanks for the info, Eduard! I'm still using the Lexar Dual Slot Card Reader you shared several years ago for my SD cards.
In Topaz are you basing your sharpening and noise reduction solely on the humming bird? The background noise can easily be adjusted in Lightroom or Camera RAW by using an adjustment brush and painting over the background.
I don't think any EXIF will include shutter count. The image file number also doesn't represent the actual shutter count. Going into Live View counts as a shutter actuation even if you don't take any photos. I'm pretty sure the shutter count is stored in a camera's software, not in a photo's EXIF.
There are 2 links for the Marketplace. If you go to this link which is the main link on the forum, you will see the posts. No one has used it lately.

Glad you were able to resolve your issue. I was having AF problems with my Nikon 300mm f/4 PF and sent it out to Nikon repair. They couldn't find anything wrong and returned the lens. Eventually I used 99% Isopropyl Alcohol which is for technical use (higher concentration of alcohol than...
Two from this afternoon along the Delaware Canal (it's in Pennsylvania but runs parallel to the Delaware River). I couldn't quite get the white balance to match.
Ron, are you uploading a full size image? If it's cropped or had its resolution lowered, it doesn't always work on that website. Those were the only times I couldn't get a shutter count.
That's a great idea. Thanks for letting me know. I haven't been out much in the evening to work with golden hour images. It looks like one of my edits used the Daylight white balance but tweaked the Magenta slider a little. However, it was still a little dull so I did a second re-edit. That time...
