Snap Bridge or Tethering Options

Does anyone know if Snap Bridge works with the D750, D610, or D7200 since none of them are listed? My D500 is the only one on the list.

And if not, any suggestions on a wireless app that can transfer images wirelessly from these cameras to an iPhone? I have a wireless mobile adapter for my D610 that will allow wireless transfer. The rest should have it built in. Or an I going to have to tether with a cord?

Just for you I put a fresh battery in my D750, turned on wifi, connected my Motorola phone to that wifi. D750 showed immediately in Snapbridge, with working photo transfer and remote operation. Snapbridge has replaced the old Nikon Wireless app and seems to work with the older cameras still.

Thank you! I do remember trying out the old Nikon Wireless app which worked fine, but that was ages ago. I know there were many complaints when SnapBridge first came out.

I had just the chance to try Snapbridge for the first time today... Took nearly 30 minutes just because it wanted to use Bluetooth and precise location, where I wanted to use Wifi only and no internet... Eventually the software gave up and allowed me to use the WiFi only option...
I got presented with a very, very sad GUI and taking picture (2MB max size, not sure why) from the Z7II...

I got no words to describe this software, but I would love to know if anybody here, actually has found the way to use it in a positive manner...
I was hoping to be able to use the phone as remote for when taking pictures at night on the tripod....

I use Snapbridge when we are away and want to "view" my photos from a day out on my phone. It sounds like you have it working, but to be sure here is the wonky workflow. Turn on wifi on the camera, then connect to that network on your phone, then open snapbridge (in that order). with the Z series you should see the view right away is you select shooting and you have control of several parameters (On D series the mirror will go up and put you in "live view")

For the downloading part to your phone the 2mb default is to save space on your phone, you should see an option to download "full" size. The Z7II has a large sensor and even JPG files (if large) can take up lots of space.

The intention of snapbridge is to get a post able file onto your phone quick, for example I shoot all photos RAW. If I want to send a family member a shot of the day the 2mb file is as the camera would have processed the shot if I was shooting JPG. this is very convenient.

SnapBridge is wonky but its neat (for some things) once you get used to it. I encourage you to use it more (what I had to do to) till it becomes second nature. Many of us get frustrated at first (or a long time ;) ).

Hope this is helpful

Since up grading to a Zf from a Z5, there are many new options on camera for connecting via wifi. I can connect to Snapbridge by AP mode (the "classic" method where the camera makes an access point) or by Station mode where the camera and phone can be connected to a home wifi and still talk to each other. Really in Station mode the camera can talk directly to Nikon Cloud for transferring full-res photos to photo hosts.

But this still has hiccups connecting to Snapbridge by any method. Works 1 day without any trouble, 2 days later it acts like it forgot everything. One thing I have discovered is that you will want to set wifi authentication mode to WPA2-PSK. Auto mode will fail on you. I spent 2 days when I bought the camera just trying to work out all of this. I have not even attempted to do a direct to PC connection, which is also among the wifi options.

Thanks for the tip about the option to download full size...
For my single need (remote control only) the best and easy option it to activate Wifi only.. No data, no BT and no location... This seemed to do the trick as it connect almost instantly...
The only missing option (unless I had some settings in the wrong place) is the choice of ISO (is always set to Auto)... Other than that we are good to go..
