On the Gold Coast today. Supposedly the mecca for holiday makers. Yes, the beaches are nice but there are always FAR too many humans, and it's under the flight path for the airport at Coolangatta. Currumbin Beach.

4th Nov.....307/365....surfs up Currumbin beach. The better/more game surfers enter the water via the rocks. I assume to save having to paddle out thru the breakers on the beach but it's not for the faint hearted. We saw a young lady come close to being washed up on those sharp rocks.
