18th Oct....290/365...echoes of summer The sun on my back, the constant hum of bees.....yes! It sounds like summer is not far away. Oh...and I did get stung. That will teach me to walk down between 2 rows of bee hives :D

17th Oct.....289/365......fun at the local cafe Just a little whimsy today as there is a scarecrow festival on in this little tourist town we visited today :D

The day we went communing with nature we also visited an alpaca farm. Such funny critters. We bought a bag of pellets to feed them and they had us in stitches with the noises they made and how they spat at us. The white ones were gentle dainty eaters for some reason.

16th Oct.....288/365...echidna These fellas live in my garden. They come out at night and dig up my plants looking for insects, but I love having them and rarely see them, so I was thrilled to spot this one wandering across the garden this evening

13th Oct 2014....287/365.....how's the serenity? A little rain recently and all is looking lush locally.

14th Oct 2014.......286/365.....new life Just happened to spot this mother and newborn (abt 30mins old I'd reckon) as we passed a local dairy. Hadn't been up on it's feet yet and this was the first attempt. No wonder it failed with mum licking it's rear :D

We were supposed to be taking our mates new (but second hand) boat out for his maiden sail but we got it on the boatramp and discovered the batteries were flat, so that idea quickly went west. So...we decided to take a run up to a nearby park, which is in rainforest, to see what was happening...

281/365...steam engine I am crap at editing. I edited out a parking sign and stuffed up the gutter on the rooftop and then couldn't fix it, so don't look at 100% please :D I am getting better, but some things I still just can't get quite right. I did also "try" to correct the distortion, but...

8th Oct 2014....280/365 2nd prize flowers I had hoped to be posting the blood moon but it's totally clouded over here, and virtually all up the east coast where the majority of the population live :( So you get flowers
