30, July, 2016 A cloud day today. I played with some other shots, but they did not go well. I guess nothing ventured nothing gained... but I did like the clouds before the rain came in.

28, July, 2016 Quieter day today... Rainy day and such. Did more porch sitting than running, but it was still a good day. I like having the Gimbal Head for this big lens. It really helps me out a lot.

27, July, 2016 Still hot and humid here, but a decent day. I actually got out a bit to shoot. May have gone a bit further than I should have, but I got home okay chilled for a while. :encouragement: Took an old road I had not been on in a while. It was nice to see water in the streams...

A friend of mine buzzed the house this morning in his helicopter... at least I think it was him... But before I could gather evidence he was gone. Since I had the 200-500 mounted I walked the dog and got a couple birds in the tree at the end of the drive a bit closer than usual.

big al, I do shoot a lot of landscape and I do have the same issues of washing out the sky and or underexposure of the ground and choices: using a filter on the camera or fixing it in post. I love my D7200 it does a great job and in most cases I use the suggestions outlined above to manage over...

22, July. 2016 Today is mowing day... one of the many things that I can no longer do, but my brother-in-law and his wife come out and help... So yesterday was a blast but today was one of recovery so I took photos of lawn mowin'.... All part of the pageantry
