30, September, 2016 Playing with the new lens a bit. Just to get familiar. Typical fall weather today. I love it but the sky is a bit gray.

I have been wanting a 70-200 2.8 lens. I read about this Tamron 70-200 F/2.8 (IF) Macro and it had decent reviews. Only complaint was that it has slightly slower focus speed than the VC version of the lens. Dreary day today and I am tired. So I only to take a couple shots of my wife at her...

29, September, 2016 Only one shot today. Kind of dreary here and I am wore out. Drove to Lexington and picked up a new lens. Tamron 70-200 without VC. Seems to be a nice lens. First shots are of my wife Pat. stopped at her office on the way home. Impromptu portrait.

Really liked the photos of the balloons and the reflection shots @nikonpup. Very nice. As for the local wildlife... the reactor, vision and mushrooms... who's too say. I am thinkin' it could have been all 3 having an impact. I guess it is a question of time or quantity... Oz I think...

28, September, 2016 Saw the sun coming up this morning and had to get some shots. Soon as I picked up the camera Jersey perked up and met me at the door so we wandered about a bit a the sun came up... God's promise of another day.

On the same road was a horse mansion... just does not seem right to call it a horse barn... and this was a low end mansion. :confused:

27, September, 2016 Took a little ride in the Jeep today. Found this old trestle on this small lane. I wanted to get on top but that gravel was a bit tooo loose for an old fat man and a cane :D

25, September, 2016 Got a couple nice clouds yesterday. Quiet day at home after church...

24, September, 2016 Dad's birthday today. He would have been 84 today. It will be 5 years since he past the end of next month. Took Mom to the cemetery. I miss him at the strangest times.

It was a bit much for Pat and I tonight... we headed on home. My brother in law Mike was mowing. He takes care of the yard for us. I get to dizzy doing our yard and it is steep enough that it is hard to stay in the seat. :D
