I have no more then $400 dollars to spend. I have pretty much ruled out everything except the Nikon 18-140, and the Nikon 18-200VRII I can get a refurb 18-140 from Adorama for $329.95. Or an 18-200VRII used one for $399.00 in "E-" condition. What to do, what to do...I've been researching this...

@mom2nj. May I also suggest that when shooting water on a bright and sunny day, a polarizer filter would eliminate much of the bright reflections coming off of it.
