As much as I love my 18-55 I just can't get along with my 55-200 for some reason. When I bought it, I was under the impression that it has the same IQ as the 18-55 but in a telephoto lens. Even my Sigma 70-300 without image stabilization takes better photos, IMHO. Maybe it's just me..I don't...

I just couldn't help myself. I posted a color version in the HDR forum and I'm so pleased with myself that I just had to see what it would look like dressed up in B&W..For a guy that doesn't like B&W I sure do post a lot of them LOL:)

This is with the 11-16 that someone sold me recently. I paid a six pack of Schlitz, a carton of Marlboro lights, and a box of drumsticks for it.

Did a whole bunch of shooting on a Sunday afternoon. (Sounds like a good title for a thread):) This is in Blue Ridge, Georgia. I found out something about this lens. (maybe this is true with all UWA lenses). You can not shoot anywhere near facing the sun without having an ND or polarizer filter...
