IME prints always look better than on the computer screen. Higher resolution and a natural blending of the ink dots seems to be the reason. At least that's what people who have much more tech savvy than me have told me. :)

I love this combo. Close minimum focus distance and quite sharp. Great for smaller subjects.

I had an 18-300 many years ago, and it was not a very sharp lens. It was certainly very convenient, though. Lenses with a wide range like this tend to some with that trade-off.
