I don't have the D750, but I would suspect that just like on the 7100, in camera HDR only works with jpegs as @Skwaz pointed out. There are a few other settings that you may have to change as well. Do a search on youtube for D750 in camera HDR and you should find an answer to your question.

I believe @Marcel meant to say, that you're in Auto mode. "A" mode is aperture priority. You have a very nice and expensive point and shoot camera there if you're using it in auto mode BTW.

The more I look at that tree, the more I hate it. I got a better shot of a goose over here. Don't anyone look at the tree anymore!

Reflection. This tree caught my interest. I shot it from a 100 different angles and this is the only one that came out halfway decent. Not very happy with it but I ain't got much else today.
