Experimenting with HDR and Black and White. (Cross posted in HDR)

Started with 3 bracketed raw files, edited in ACR. Saved as jpegs and used Photomatix. Pulled hair out trying to figure out how to get rid of halos and get texture, shadows, and lighting good for eventual BW image. Opened in PS to clean up. Saved finished color image in jpeg and opened in Nik Silver Efex.

It's not the software only but the subject its self is important. And you got the right subject to do b/w and which is awesome.
