I'm looking to purchase a 20mm or shorter focal length lens soon and am at a toss-up on whether to buy an autofocus or a manual focus lens. The hyper-focal settings look as though I can set hyper-focal focus and have the image in focus from about 1 meter to infinity at f/11 or so. This will...

This shot is of my co-worker. One of my lessons learned is that the tripod was an impediment for most of the day I was shooting at 1/2000 of a second or faster most of the time and the tripod slowed me down. I suppose that if I had a good quality video panning head on the tripod, it would...

And two more. I've got a few more that I'll post later. There was so much rain, and it was so cloudy that a lot of the places I wanted to visit and photograph just didn't work out. In a two week period, they registered over 35 inches of rain. I guess I should have taken pictures of the rain. WM
