Was asked by a mate if I could take a few photos for him, he had this idea for mothers day. So early this morning we went down to the park and shot some pics. This rendition is what he had in mind. These will be printed on canvas squares.

Went for a walk yesterday and found this Robber fly, he was having dinner but did not want to be disturbed. Managed one good shot out of 3 before he had enough.

Some friendly/wary paper wasps. We were ok so long as we did not bump the bush.

And also came across these cute jumping spider. And yes that is the real sky in the background.

Had fun going for a drive and walk today, came across this hungry Robber Fly. Taken with the D600 and 90mm Tamron.

Well it is that time of year where we start fires to burn away the spear grass that has grown 10+ft in some places. This provides a bounty of food for whistling kites and black kites who as it has been told will pick up a burning stick and drop it where nothing is burning so that the insects...
