Dec 6th. Weslow Mere - hard to get near to. its mainly a private fly fishing place and they don't like non paying visitors :( So this was taken from the nearest public footpath.

Enjoyed playing with this. Not really tried HDR before. Not as dramatic as some above .

2nd go - Used a trial version of Topaz Impression to see what it can do.

Dec4 Morning walk with Charlie

First frost of the year, bright and crisp view out front this morning.

Only wanted to drill a small hole and put wooden plug in :)

Our garden this morning - the drill is a bit bigger than my Black and Decker. Power will be off most of tomorrow the poles are being replaced. Cant promise to do one every day but will join in.

Not a breath of wind here all week, so had to use man made wind with the leaf blower.

As @Eyelight says you have too much colour in the background to get it exactly like the original. I have gone overboard a bit but used two brushes 1 on the background to remove most of the colour. and the second on the dog to make him/her more gray. This is the result its not exactly...

@SteveH great shot both in colour and B&W. I was born not too far from York its a great city.,my son went to Uni there. Knaresborough would be another good site to share the ambience.

I really don't like giving negative feedback but you asked so .. IMHO your shot lacks impact. It comes across very washed out. What were you trying to convey? I think with some post processing you could get a lot more out of the sky and the trees. You do allow editing so I have gone OTT...
