Came across this thread just now. You guys are crazy. What "drives" me crazy is getting the right driver for the screw. All screws used to be either Slotted or Phillips. Now there are lots of variations on the Phillips and it is so frustrating trying to get the right bit for the driver.

One way to check if its light leaking through the viewfinder is to take shots with the lens cap on at say two different iso settings, 640 and 6400 all with camera set in manual at the same shutter speed and f/3.5 aperture and the viewfinder cover open , then repeat with viewfinder cover...
