Re: Wud's project 365 Day 55. First a mobile shot, too funny :o My dog goes to this water walk (rehabilitation program), today he got massage instead and afterwards this laser treatment (doesn't hurt, just feels warm, its good for blood circulation and healing of damaged areas). Apparently we...

    Wud's project 365 2014

Re: Wud's project 365 Day 52 - test of patience, at least until I realized, I wasn't gonna get the image without a third hand helping! Soab bubble bursting! - Setup: 105mm, manuel focused on a lamp stand (so I would know where to burst the bubble). You can see the lamp in the bubble, but it...

    Beauty dish for flash?

Anyone used this? Is it just as awesome and good looking as a beauty dish on stropes? My concern is, if the light from flash will be to hard to make it look good.. Edit, just had a talk with a photographer I know, sounds like it is best suited for stropes/lamps.

    Studio setup

I have forgotten the brand of the lamps we use in the studio, but I'll get the names for you next time I'm going there. Its strobes and they are very easy to work with. In the studio we got 5 lamps, 2 big soft boxes, a smaller soft box, an umbrella and something that looks a bit like a beauty...

    Showing some pictures upside down

Uh, should I be a little scared now...?? I had an accident on the beach and the camera hit the sand (not hard). And then both yesterday and today in Lightroom, before importing, a few of the images have been upside down - when I click them big and after import, they are turned the right way. In...

    Post your favorite January shot

Happy 1st February :) I thought it would be interesting if we made a thread every month, and tried to show only 1 image we did in the previous month, which we are happy with. Could be you learned something new. Could be a shot you liked because of what you were capturing - anything goes, but...

    Landscapes from last year

I've been cleaning up on my computer (deleted 17.000 files!) and came across a lot of old files, loads of them never been processed. Found quite a lot I like. Hope you can overcome that several are done with Canon 40D, but some are done with my current Nikon. Its mostly landscapes/cloudscapes...

    Will Yurman - A Day, A Photo

Yeah, I feel the same, my camera are pretty huge and loud, when trying to sneak a shot.. but I see SOOOO many shots I wanna take, when out in public places. This was done with my phone, the moment lasted about 4 seconds (the way he is standing with his hand) so no way I would have got the same...

Re: Wud's project 365 Day 24, for some reason I got very inspired by @BackdoorHippie's fabulous black and white shot. I know you probably dont see the link, but that doesn't matter :o Its called: Somebody that I used to know. Oh - the title has nothing to do with Mr. Backdoor, just so you...

    Smart preview images in Lightroom

Hey I lost track here - I am trying to clear up some space on my harddisk, and read some of those LR treads going on, so thought I would make smart preview of all images from 2013 and afterwards backup and delete the originals from the computer. I got them smart preview'ed now. But now it...

    Wud's project 365 2014

Re: Wud's project 365 Haha. May need to work on my technique.... The b/w image: Just one softbox, from above, shooting down at her. The color image, 2 softboxes, left one hits her a little bit in front but mostly it was to get some light behind her. Second on shoots directly on her.

    Wendy's 2014 Project 365

And too my last post - why is is a great composition?? Well, because you managed a whole bunch of things! First, you placed the little guys eye beautifully in one of the magic spots in the golden ratio. The rest of the image also very well fits this ratio: Next, something called triangle...
