I know I've not been nominated, but thought I would join in. Day 2. Riding my bike home today, and took the short cut way home along the canal path.

I had a few holidays left to take this year, so with normal days off and bank holidays, I finish work on the 17th of December :) Then not back in work till the 5th of January. If your working, what days do you have off over Christmas and new year.

As I built a house of cards yesterday for the weekly challenge, I was doing some editing in lightroom, this is one I did in black and white(had to lay on the floor to get this shot) and the 1st time using the flash on the camera.

My son had the camera yesterday, he took quite a few good shots, which I need to edited with lightroom, just done this one.

This little robin was playing tricks on me, just waited till I got the focus correct then it would fly off, but waited a few minutes and got the picture.

Nice clear sky tonight.

I think I should win for effort put in for this picture :) although my house of cards is not a perfect triangle, a triangle is symmetry I was going to make the picture black and white, then while I was adjusting the colour and brightness got this picture I will call it "Time and patience"

In my local DIY store yesterday, and you can tell Christmas is near when they start selling real Christmas trees. (picture taken with mobile phone)

Walking around the local park the other day, took a couple of lens with me, 55-200mm zoom and 50mm prime, And that got me thinking, what would be the ideal lens to have. I was thinking along the lines of 18-600mm zoom with say F1.8, and would have to be lightweight, and even better with built...

I just checked my lightroom for lens correction, I never knew there was so many lens, this is just a bit of the list.

Tricky subject this one, and it made me think back to summer time, and using a fan to keep cool, and with a slow shutter speed and bit of selective colour got this picture.

As I was moving around to get better pictures of the squirrels, they ran up the tree.
