Every time I got near this squirrel it would run off.

This heron has eluded me for months now, spotted it twice in 4 months, so today I was in luck, At 1st I thought it was a decoy, as it was just stood there and not moving. Then I move around slowly to try and get a better picture, got to close and it flew off, but then landed 50 yards away...

Just need to find a good place in the garden for it, and get some branches to put on it, to get the birds near the food.

Not 100% sure if this picture is allowed, after all the Christmas shopping, going around all the shops. you could say this picture is a result of "shopping" Its time to put my feet up, sit back and relax.

My local paper has a flickr page, and you can share your pictures with them, so I have put on a few pictures to there group, I took the picture a few weeks ago, And put the picture on here (leaf shots) I was pleased when I opened the paper and there it was on page two, my picture :)
