@hrstrat57.....yes.....one of the shortcomings is the short battery life of the A7. Thanks!

It's been said by some smarter than I on the internet that you can unscrew your lightshade and use the screw that holds it on for a makeshift tripod if you need one. The screws are evidently the same threads that your camera uses. Try it and see!
