I have been playing with them today and a little last night and I see that they are a little overexposed. I think F16 at 2 seconds will be what I try next time. This one was edited in Photoshop and the brightness was decreased and the contrast was increased to get the blacks black.

This was shot with a 200MM lens, F8 at 2 seconds I was 10 miles away so there had to be a good bit of cropping to get a decent picture. The white dome in the lower left of the photo is the State Capital building of the State of Alabama.
