The file was too small to be able to make good adjustments, but you get the idea. As others have said, Lightroom sliders on shadows, contrast, clarity, saturation... Additional bump on blue saturation (sorry about pixelation) for sky.
When I set my 750 to self timer, it fires off 6 shots. ??? If I switch on bracketing, it will shoot the number of frames I pick to bracket. But with bracketing off, it shoots 6. Any thoughts?
Joined the queue for this yesterday. Bye bye 70-300VR.
btw, check out this excerpt from the always-goofy Ken Rockwell's review on the 200-500:
Versus Junk Brands
The main reason junk brands are bad buys is because they are short-term buys. After their warranties expire, it's not likely that...
Here's what I get when I try your settings with D750, 24-70 and hot shoe mounted SB-800. Manual (full power) and TTL yielded the same results. So, I'm probably getting what you're getting. Maybe if you can tell why you need those settings (or why you can't open the lens up), we can be of more...
I had the AF Zoom-Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D ED for several years before stumbling into a sweet deal on the 70-200 VRII. Built like a tank and pretty sharp. Newer versions have better AF, but you're talking more $$$$. For what I'm guessing is a couple of hundred bucks, you can't go wrong.
I agree with Joe. You have lenses that cover the 24-70 range (more or less). Wide shots are cool. I've shot with the Tokina and Nikon 17-55 on my D7000 at a few events and got some fun pics. Most of my recent concert stuff is FX with the 24-70 and 70-200 with some ultra wide thrown in with the...
Added the Think Tank Retrospective 40 to my bag collection. Now I have one that'll hold a couple of bodies, the trinity, a pair of primes, 2 flashes and an iPad. Amazon for only $119. (stock photo)
It needs some PP work. Maybe a boost on shadows, clarity and sharpening. Backlighting's a bitch. :) Other than that, you're shooting at the long end of a lens that's not noted for sharpness at the long end...... If I had to give one bit of advice, it would be to crank up the shutter speed.
