    55-200 bokeh.

Came home after work today, and went outside to shoot my new 55-200mm that I got last week. Hasn't had a chance to give it a good workout yet, but the bokeh ain't too bad. I'm taking it to the zoo Sunday. Pretty darn sharp at 200mm. No PP, but I had the picture control set at Vivid, as I shot...

    My first try

It's a crappy day today, so I went out the back deck and started shooting some black clouds. Then I remembered that I wanted to try an HDR photo for a while now, so this is the result from Photomatix. I don't know. Looks a bit over done I think.

Trusted reviews or reviewers on camera gear.

After deciding to purchase new gear, what is your go to website, when it comes to reviews. I normally spend weeks researching a product before I pull the trigger, but I don't have one particular go to place that I trust a 100%.

    Help with forum settings

Is there a section somewhere that would help with the settings of this forum. For example, I am trying to add images to my gallery. I have no problem adding multiple images, however when I create an album, it seems I can only upload 1 image at a time to that album. Can someone point me to a...

My $89.00 dollar refurb 55-200mm Vr lens arrived.

Ok, so it's no glamorous f/2.8 telephoto magic, but it takes pretty good photos.:p I like it better than my sigma 70-300 which I see no one wants to buy from me.:D:D These are straight OOC with no processing whatsoever.

    d3100 focusing screen upgrade question.

After much researching ,watching tutorial after tutorial, I have decided that I need a split-prism focusing screen. Why?.. Because I like shooting old manual focus lenses, (In all honesty I only have one, but I love it.) I,ve been looking at the katzeye ones, but they are a $105 USD, which is a...

My 1st attempt at shooting moving water. Part2.

I have been seeing a lot of great professional images online capturing moving water. I figured I give it a shot myself. The problem was that it was pretty light out and I had no ND filter at the time. I used a circular polarizer to take some of the reflections off the water. Also used a tripod...

    Another 50mm f/1.8D AF thread.

I just got mine from e-bay, and just wanted to share a few pics. For 90 bucks you can't go wrong. However this manual focus thing (d3100) is going to take some practice. Right now I'm not seeing much difference between this and the 18-55 kit lens set at 50mm with the same aperture settings...
